ORIGAMI INSTRUCTIONS

the instructions and paste into a text editor)
1. Orient the paper in a
diamond position with the color side face down.

2. Bring the top point down to
the bottom point to form a triangle.

3. Bring the right point over
to the left point to make a smaller triangle.

4. With the opening facing you
lift the top piece of paper and insert your finger to the back point of
the triangle.

5. As you do this, one point
of the triangle lifts off the table. Simultaneously lift and shift this
point to the opposite corner and squash it down, thus forming a square .

6. Turn the paper over. You
will see the outline of a triangle. Lift the extended point of the
triangle until the triangle is perpendicular to the square base.

7. Hold the square down with
one hand and open the triangle with the other. Again, insert your finger
to the back point of the triangle. As you do this, the uppermost point
begins to draw downward. Remove your finger and draw the point down to
squash and form another square.

8. With the opening facing
you, lift the first layers of paper at the lower right and left edges and
bring them to the center fold to form a kite shape. Turn over and repeat.

9. Fold the top triangle of
the kite down over the lower kite shape that you just folded. Do this
back and forth, then unfold to return to the kite shape.

10. Now hold down the small
triangle at the top and unfold the right and left flaps. Continue to hold
down the triangle as you lift the first layer of paper. As you lift you will
notice the sides turning inward-reversing the folds on the kite.

11. Open all the way to
complete the reversing process. In front of you is a diamond shape with a
seam up the middle. Turn over and repeat.

12. Examine the diamond. One
end has two "legs". Narrow these legs by bringing the outer
edge to the center. Turn over and repeat. You have just folded the neck
and tail.

13. Pick your origami up off
the table and lift the leg points up as far as they will go, and pull
outward to form a "V".

14. Drop a leg down and gently
unfold at the long (vertical) seam.

15. Place a finger at the short
(horizontal) seam. And gently bring the narrow "leg" back
upward so that it is now in-between the wing section. Reverse the fold on
this part. Repeat .

16. Crimp fold one of the
narrow points to form a head
